Exploring Assistive Technology through embedded video
For this assignment, you will search TeacherTube and YouTube for assistive technology demonstrations by individuals with disabilities or vendors working with an individual with a disability. Each student will contribute by posting a link to the video and then a 150-word description of the device and how it can be used in the classroom (students are not allowed to repeat an assistive technology posted by another student) on their page on the wikispace. To cultivate student conversation about the AT videos, students are required to read all descriptions and watch all videos posted by other students. Students are also required to add at least two constructive comments to posts from other students. There can be no more than 4 comments on one video.
